Kenesha Sneed is a super creative lady based in Los Angeles who blows our minds with her carefree, uber-relaxed work and aesthetic. Working independently from her home studio, Kenesha spends her days splitting her time between the realms of the analogue and digital with her work as a designer, art director, illustrator and ceramicist. Recently her focus has been on illustration and ceramics, which initially began as a side hustle, and has become a practice that she now works at full-time under the pseudonym and shop moniker Tactile Matter.

Mark Alsweiler is a Sydney-based artist whose wooden sculptures and paintings have truly stolen our hearts. He’s originally from the south island of New Zealand, and studied graphic design at Otago University in Dunedin with the idea of becoming a graphic designer. Art made him make the jump over to Australia around 10 years ago, and since then he has been showing his work from Oz to San Francisco, solo and as part of the RVCA art collective.

Lorien Stern is a young California-based artist making some pretty damn magical work. Lorien creates ceramics, paintings and apparel in candy colours, imbued with a liveliness that is infectious and addictive. She explores themes of discomfort and fear by tackling them head-on with gusto and her signature goofy style. Ceramics of hyper-colour shark heads, gouache paintings and an apparel line filled with tees covered in screen print transfers of the animal kingdom, pins, patches, cushions and homewares make up her eccentric practice. Oh and we haven’t even mentioned that she makes all of this from a shipping container...

Olivia Fiddes’ ceramics are divine. Whether it’s a cup, bowl, plate, vase or even tea strainer, we feel nourished just looking at her meticulously hand-built vessels. Olivia is originally from Scotland where, as a child, she first discovered clay. Being set to work on building a wonky self-portrait bust in A Level art secured a soft-spot for clay, although it wasn’t until she started taking evening pottery classes years later that she picked it back up again — and she hasn’t looked back since!
